How Much Does a Website Cost in Tunisia in 2026? (Full Price Guide)

Ask five agencies in Tunis for a quote and you will get five very different numbers. That is what makes the question of website cost in Tunisia so confusing: offers range from a few hundred dinars for a ready-made template to tens of thousands for a custom platform. In this guide we share our real 2026 prices at Moocky, explain what makes a project cheaper or more expensive, and list the hidden costs that quotes often leave out, so you can budget with confidence and compare offers on equal terms.
Website cost in Tunisia at a glance (2026)
Here is what we charge in 2026 for the three types of projects we build most often:
Corporate / institutional website: from 1,800 TND to 3,600 TND, depending on your needs.
E-commerce website: from 2,000 TND.
SaaS platforms and custom web applications: estimated in man-days, from 200 TND per man-day, depending on the profiles the project requires.
Planning a mobile app instead? It follows a different logic, which we cover in our guide on how much it costs to build a mobile app.
These figures are starting points, not fixed packages. Every project gets a detailed written quote after a short discovery call, because two "simple websites" can hide very different amounts of work. The rest of this article explains where that difference comes from.
What drives the price of a website?
Whatever the agency, the same factors move a quote up or down. Knowing them helps you decide where to invest and where to save.
Number of pages and page templates. Ten pages built on two layouts cost far less than ten pages that each need their own design.
Custom design or adapted template. A design created for your brand takes more time than an existing theme adjusted to your colours, but it is what makes you look different from competitors.
Languages. Many Tunisian businesses need French, English and Arabic. Each language adds content work, and Arabic adds right-to-left layout work.
Content. Do you already have your texts, photos and logo, or do you need copywriting and photography? Content is the number one cause of delayed projects.
Features and integrations. Contact forms, online booking, maps, WhatsApp, a CRM, a newsletter tool or online payment each add development and testing time.
SEO and performance groundwork. A site built to load fast and rank on Google (clean structure, metadata, sitemap, structured data) takes more care than one that simply "works".
Deadline. A very tight launch date means more people working in parallel, which costs more.
Corporate website: 1,800 to 3,600 TND
A corporate (or institutional) website presents your company, your services and your credibility, and turns visitors into calls, emails or quote requests. It is the most common project we deliver for SMEs, clinics, industrial companies, consultancies and event organisers.
Around 1,800 TND: a focused, professional site
At the lower end of the range you typically get a compact site with the essential pages (home, about, services, contact), a responsive design that works perfectly on mobile, a contact form, the technical SEO basics and fast loading times. It is ideal when you need a credible online presence quickly and your content is ready.
Towards 3,600 TND: a complete marketing site
The price moves towards the top of the range when the project needs more: a fully custom design, more pages and sections, several languages, a blog you can update yourself, portfolio or case-study pages, integrations with your tools, and more advanced SEO work on each page.
Whatever the budget, we build with the same standards: modern technology (Next.js and React), pages built to load fast and score high on Google Lighthouse, and full ownership of your code and domain name. You can see examples in our portfolio of delivered projects and on our web development service page.
E-commerce website: from 2,000 TND
An online store has to do much more than look good: it has to manage products, stock, orders and customers, and make buying easy, especially on a phone. That is why e-commerce starts slightly higher than a corporate site.
What a starting store includes
A typical starting point covers a product catalogue with categories, product pages, a cart and checkout, cash on delivery (still the payment method most Tunisian shoppers prefer), an order management back-office and a mobile-first design.
What increases the budget
Online card payment through a Tunisian payment gateway such as ClicToPay, Konnect or Flouci, or international gateways if you sell abroad.
Delivery integration with your courier to create shipments and track parcels automatically.
Large catalogues with many variants (sizes, colours, materials) or product imports.
Stock or ERP synchronisation with your existing software or physical shop.
Marketing features: promo codes, loyalty programmes, abandoned-cart reminders, wholesale (B2B) prices.
Several languages and currencies.
Remember to budget for running costs too: payment gateways take a fee on each transaction, and hosting must scale with your traffic during promotions. Several of our e-commerce projects are documented in detail, for example Sha Collection and Hometab.
SaaS and custom web applications: priced in man-days
A SaaS platform, a client portal, an internal management tool or a marketplace cannot be priced like a website, because no two are alike. For these projects we work in man-days: we estimate how many days of work each part of the project needs, then apply the daily rate of the profiles involved.
Our rates start at 200 TND per man-day and depend on the profile: developer, senior engineer or architect, UI/UX designer.
The estimate comes after a discovery phase in which we define the features, users, integrations and technical constraints together.
Illustrative example: a first version needing around 30 man-days at the starting rate would represent about 6,000 TND (30 × 200 TND). A real estimate usually mixes several profiles, so treat this only as an order of magnitude.
The best way to keep a custom project under control is to start with a focused first version (an MVP), put it in front of real users, then invest in the features they actually use. We explain this approach in our guide on how to build a scalable SaaS and on our SaaS development page.
The hidden costs most quotes leave out
The build price is only part of the total cost of a website. Before comparing quotes, check which of these are included:
Domain name. A .tn or .com domain is renewed every year. Make sure it is registered in your company's name, not the agency's or a freelancer's: losing a domain means losing your address, your emails and your Google rankings.
Hosting. From a modest yearly fee for a small site to monthly cloud costs for a busy store or application.
Maintenance and security. Updates, backups, monitoring and small changes after launch.
Content. Copywriting, translation and professional photos if you do not have them.
Third-party fees. Payment gateway commissions, paid plugins or themes, email-sending services.
Visibility. Ongoing SEO and advertising: a website nobody finds does not generate business.
The most expensive hidden cost is often the cheapest website: a slow, poorly built site that has to be redone after a year costs twice.
Freelancer, template or agency: which is cheaper in the long run?
Website builders and templates have the lowest upfront cost and suit very simple needs. Their limits appear quickly: generic design, average performance, monthly subscriptions and difficulty moving away later.
A freelancer can be a good option for a small, well-defined project. The risk is dependency on one person's availability for maintenance and future changes.
An agency costs more upfront but brings a team (design, development, SEO), a process, written commitments and continuity after launch.
The right choice depends on what is at stake. If your website is a key source of clients or sales, it deserves to be treated as an investment, not an expense.
How to get an accurate quote
The more precise your request, the more precise (and comparable) the quotes you receive. Before contacting agencies, prepare:
Your goal: more quote requests, online sales, credibility with partners, recruitment…
The pages or features you need, even as a rough list.
Two or three websites you like, and why.
The status of your content (texts, photos, logo) and the languages required.
Your deadline and an indicative budget range.
Then ask every agency the same questions: who will own the code and the domain, what exactly is included, what the timeline is, and what happens after launch.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a simple website cost in Tunisia?
At Moocky, a professional corporate website starts at 1,800 TND. Cheaper offers exist, usually based on generic templates with limited performance, design and support.
How long does it take to build a website?
A corporate website typically takes two to six weeks, an e-commerce store slightly longer, and a custom application depends on its scope. In practice, content readiness is what most often sets the pace.
Why do website prices vary so much between agencies?
Because "a website" can mean very different things: a template filled with your logo, or a custom-designed, fast, SEO-ready site built to generate business. Compare what is included, not only the final number.
Who should own the domain name and the code?
You should. Make sure the domain is registered in your company's name and that the contract gives you full ownership of the code and content.
